Chad & Bill,
Several years ago my son and I started talking about getting a new boat. I was already the owner of a 16 ft. Lund w/tiller but decided I wanted to upsize. Being new to the area we set out to a local dealer. When considering making a purchase that large and getting what I wanted and needed was a major factor in my mind. Well apparently the dealership we went to did not. Not only did they apparently not care they wouldn't even talk to us. So my son said, "To with them if they don't care about us then we will take our business and money to someone who does. That in itself presented a problem because as I said I was new to the area. But I did know someone I could ask, he owned a boat. So I did just that and he recommended ALGONA MARINE. So that is where I went and would become the proud owner of a 19 ft. Lund, that met my specifications. I was treated like they cared about my satisfaction. So with many good times to remember with that 19 ft. Lund, yes, that upsizing feeling came upon me again. The buddy who first recommended ALGONA MARINE was also thinking of upsizing. So with no hesitation we set out for ALGONA MARINE. And yes once again became owners of, this time 21 ft. Lunds that met our specifications. I don't know that I will be doing anymore upsizing but if I ever decide to there is no doubt that I know exactly who I will go to and that is ALGONA MARINE.
Thanks from a 2 time happy buyer,
Douglas Witzenburg I BUZZ |

Dear Bill,
Congratulations on your finish in the 2004

The recently concluded qualifying tour was highlighted by record RCL participation and
walleye catches. Your competitive angling skills were put to the test and you met the
challenge on a variety of lakes, rivers and reservoirs. We applaud your efforts.
We are pleased to present you with the following award of $1,500 for your 17th Place
finish as a pro in the 2004 points standings.
When we see you again at the RCL Championship in September we will formally
recognize you in a special ceremony prior to the rules meeting.
By developing and fine-tuning your tournament angling skills you have placed yourself
in a unique position to influence walleye anglers across North America. As competitive
walleye angling continues to expand, we appreciate your efforts in helping us promote
this sport.
Thank you once again for your support of the 2004 Wal-Mart RCL Tour and we wish you
well in the upcoming Championship.

Chad & Bill,
Now that the 2008 fishing season has drawn to a close and I was making plans for 2009, my wife asked me a question. "How did your boat work," thinking back for a moment I said "Just like the previous one." Her next question was "haven't you purchased all of them from Algona Marine? Aren't there other dealers around?" Which got me to thinking why have I purchased 4 boats from a dealership that is 140 miles from my home in Altoona, IA?
I began explaining why and the number one reason is I AM A FISHERMAN, a boat is just one part of the equation. Recalling the details of my purchases leads me to answer the what, where, when and why questions asked by you. This process insured that my boat would make me a happy owner and future customer of your dealership.
I know change is always in the wind, but never forget what makes you what you are. Happy customers return and do more business. Unhappy customers don't.
Thanks Again,
Carl Carlson |

Dear Bill,
Just a note of appreciation for the work Billy did on my boats this spring.
After putting both boats in the water they did not run smooth and Billy went to the lake and tuned them both up. My powerboat is working now better than it has the entire fifteen years I have owned it.
In my experience this the kind of customer service that I have hoped for and seldom found in any business let alone boating. Billy offered no excuses for the problems I was having but simply fixed them. I hope you can pass on to him my satisfaction and praise him for jobs well done.
I have used three different shops in the Okoboji area over a seventeen-year period and I have not been satified with any of them. I am now very satisfied client of your business and share my expereince with my boating friends and family.
THANKS for your excellent work and for Billy's skill and willingness to see a job through!

Bill & Chad,
I finally got the boat in the water. Runs great and did I get a lot of good comments on it. My friends think that Black Rebel looks great. My brother has an Alumacraft and he said he wants a new Lund. His wife him to just go fishing with me.
First fishing trip, I caught a nice walleye on Storm Lake. Glad I caught the first one. Many more to come. Thanks again.

Chad,
Just a thank you to "all of you at Algona for your extra effort". We got the boat home safe, put it in Lake Minnetonka and even caught a few bass. It was a pleasure working with you and will recommend Algona Marine to anyone.
Yours truly,

Bill,
Just wanted you to know that we really are enjoying our new Lund. I also wanted you to know that because of the way you handled us on our first meeting, you sold the boat. You gave us time and listened to us even though you all were very busy. Shamrock Boat Sales quoted us a price less than you, but we wanted to deal with you, and are happy we did!

Dear Chad,
Thanks for everything you did for me. The boat and all the equipment made this vacation one of the best ever. The boat worked like a charm, handled well in rough water and idled right down for back trolling. I have never been as impressed as I was with you and all your people at Algona Marine. From the first time I walked in the door, to when I pulled away with my new boat, I was treated with respect and attention. Thank you. If I run into anybody considering buying a boat or motor there's only one place I'll tell them to buy, Algona Marine. Again, thanks for everything.

My wife and I were at Algona Marine this past Saturday (3/11), and completed a deal to purchase the red Explorer 1700 sitting on your showroom floor. (We ' re excited, to say the least.) As we completed the agreement, we purchased a Lowrance depth finder/GPS to be installed on the dash. It's the 334 iGPS. In the excitement of the moment, I failed to ask if the temperature and speed sensors would be installed, as well. I'd like to make sure those two items are included at installation. We're scheduled to pick up the boat on April 1.
When you speak to him, I'd like to thank Bill again for the respectful way in which he dealt with us, and we're looking forward to a long and mutually beneficial association with Algona Marine & Sport. Thanks in advance for your help with the Sonar/GPS.

In 2006, Mercury Marine implemented the Service CSI Award to recognize those dealers who truly set the mark in delivering complete customer satisfaction while servicing Mercury outboard and MerCruiser products.
Because of the diligence you have shown throughout the year in delivering exceptional service to our mutual customers, I am pleased to announce that your dealership has met all the requirements needed to receive the 2006 Service CSI Award. This is truly an honor, as less than 70 dealers across North America qualified for this award. The requirements needed to achieve the award were as follows:
- Be a Mercury Premier or Certified Service level dealer at the end of the fourth quarter of 2006.
- Have a minimum of 30 Service CSI surveys returned from customers during the 2006 calendar year.
- Maintain a rolling 12 month score of 90 or higher for 2006 on each of the Service CSI surveys questions below:
- Question 4: Overall, how satisfied were you with your service experience?
- Question 14: Please indicate your overall satisfaction with your service advisor.
- Question 16c: Based on your engine service experience, how likely would you be to revisit servicing dealer for future repairs?
Congratulations on winning this prestigious award, and thank you again for your commitment to complete customer satisfaction!
